Rabies Vaccination= $20.00
Rabies is caused by a virus that attacks the brain. It is prevalent in wildlife such as raccoons, skunks, foxes, and bats. Rabies is readily transmissible to humans and pets by the bites of an infected animal. The rabies vaccination requires an examination to be given by the doctor, and is the vaccination required to get your pet registered with the town/city. The rabies vaccine is required by law for ALL dogs and cats.
DA2PP Combination Vaccination (Canine Distemper/Parvo/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Respiratory Disease Vaccination)= $20.00
DA2PP is known as the canine distemper vaccination. It protects against five common canine illnesses. Distemper is a highly contagious, often fatal disease. It is especially dangerous to puppies. Parvo is an often fatal viral disease of the intestinal tract. All dogs should be given the DA2PP vaccination .
FDRC Combination Vaccination (Feline Rhinotracheitis/Calici/Panleukopenia Vaccination)= $20.00
FDRC is known as the feline distemper vaccination. It protects against three common feline viruses. All cats should be given the FDRC vaccine.
Heartworm Test= $41.50
Heartworm disease is a very serious disease which can be fatal. The treatment is extremely expensive and risky, therefore the best thing to do to prevent this disease is by using an easy monthly medication. Heartworm tests should be done yearly for all dogs.
Lyme Vaccination= $28.00
Lyme disease is a complex disease that affects the immune system. This disease is transmitted by ticks. We have had multiple patients develop fatal Lyme complications in the past few years. All dogs exposed to ticks should be vaccinated against Lyme disease.
Bordetella (Kennel Cough Vaccination)=$19.75
Bordetella is a bacterial infection often present when a dog has kennel cough. All dogs that go to the dog park, daycare, groomers, boarding facilities or are exposed to other dogs should have the Bordetella vaccination.
FeLV (Feline Leukemia Vaccination)=$25.00
Feline leukemnia is caused by the feline leukemia virus. FeLV is one of the most common causes of illness and death in cats. It is a cancer causing virus that can suppress the cat's ability to fight infections. Kittens can be born with this, and a cat can have the virus for years without showing any symptoms. The doctor will recommend that your cat be tested for FeLV before receiving the vaccination. All cats that go outside or that are exposed to non-family cats should be vaccinated against feline leukemia. Feline Leukemia Virus Test= $52.50
