We transferred from another Clinic, for convience. closer to home. I asked around to many people before calling for appt. We took our dogs Guber and Franklin and we have not ever had such care and compassion show our animals. So glad we found you.

My dog Chesney has been a handful from day one! He is almost a year and a half and is always up to something. As a young pup he had a few freak accidents (tiny leg fracture and a dog attack) and the staff at Animal Health Center always made sure both Chesney and myself were well taken care of. The prices were very reasonable and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure you are well informed and all your questions are answered. I now live an hour away and will continue to come to see the folks at AHC because they are worth the drive! Chesney loves the staff! As do I!

It seems rather difficult to find a veterinary office who you can trust these days. After several bad experiences with other area vets, we found the Animal Health Center. The staff always welcomes you and your pet and genuinely cares about their health. Their prices are VERY reasonable, facilities are clean and well maintained, and the doctors always take the time to explain things and make sure you're informed. There's no feeling of being pressured into something like we've experienced at other vets. We will be bringing our yellow lab and two cats (Winnie, Spanky, and Muttly) to the Animal Health Center for years to come! Thank you for doing such a great job!!!

Today was my first visit to Animal Health Center. I adopted a cat 2 days ago and was told that a couple of places in the area will waive the visit fee (for the very first visit) if your animal is coming in from a shelter. To my surprise, the place I have been going to for 7 years does not waive the fee and really didn't seem to care when I told them another place in town would. I am very happy that I ended up making the switch. I brought my new cat and my 2 year old cat in at the same time. Dr. Hoisington was so loving to my fur kids. She spent alot of time with us and I learned that she will often volunteer at the Cocheco Humane Society. She is exactly the kind of person I want to have as a vet. I will be sure to let all my friends know about this wonderful place. Thank you Animal Health Center!! :)

I've been taking my pets to Animal Health Center for about 17 years, and have always been very impressed with the level of care they've received there.
About 17 years ago, Dr. Jennifer Raaf solved a hair loss issue with my Golden Retriever, Corie (it was a beef allergy) and I was very impressed with her determination and knowledge.
More recently, Dr. Cindy Hoisington and everyone at the Animal Health center were right there for me when, tragically, my beloved German Shepherd was run over by a vehicle. We lost her, but the staff did everything to make her as comfortable as possible.
And the staff at Animal Health had spent many hours on Gus the Bulldog --- he always felt like a celebrity when he went there, and being an English Bulldog, he went there a lot!
We now have Boris the Bulldog, and the Animal Health Center is the only place he will be taken to for care.
